Product Overview
Accuthermo’s FTC-series of TEC temperature controllers are specially designed for the unique requirements of systems and applications that use peltier coolers for precision temperature control. The FTC200 embedded temperature controller builds on the success of our FTC100 panel interface controller with improved precision and performance as well as the simple, sophisticated thermal management features that have made the FTC100 so popular with our customers.
The FTC200 incorporates all of the key temperature controller features from the FTC100 without the panel interface. Designed for drop-in integration into volume-production OEM systems, the FTC200 uses a software-only controller interface. The FTC200 supports RS232, RS485, and USB, offering additional interface signal flexibility compared to the RS232 interface that is standard on the FTC100.
Cost-effective High-Precision Temperature Control for TE Module Applications
Optimized for controlling thermoelectric modules, the FTC200 controller uses Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) for efficient module control without using expensive power supply solutions. With a duty cycle of 0.00 to 100.00%, the FTC200 controller’s PWM function offers 10000 levels of precision voltage control. The controller also supports bi-directional temperature control, enabling it to maintain temperature very precisely by using both voltage directions.
Move Quickly from Development to Production Implementation
The FTC200 controller offers an ideal development platform for TE-based applications. Using Accuthermo’s FTC200 Control Center GUI Software, users can quickly get their platform up and running, then develop customized temperature control software for their application. The FTC200 Control Center GUI Software provides users with a powerful toolset including the ability to write multi-step controller scripts and plot system performance. The controller also incorporates Set-it-and-Forget-it script support, so once you load your script into the controller, you can run it with no computer attached. Finally, because the FTC200 controller features a streamlined hardware design, it can easily be designed in to a system that’s ready for volume manufacturing.
Supports a Variety of Temperature Sensors
While many temperature controllers limit users to one or two sensor types, the FTC200 is designed to provide maximum flexibility for a variety of thermal control applications. The FTC200 controller offers broad support for a wide variety of temperature sensors including thermocouples, RTDs and thermistor inputs.

Accuthermo’s FTX700D H-bridge amplifier
The FTX700D is Accuthermo’s highly efficient H-bridge amplifier for medium to high voltage thermal control applications. The FTX700D supports output requirements up to 700 Watts and can meet demanding power requirements without generating significant amounts of heat. The FTX700D is capable of driving bi-directional voltage to thermoelectric modules for cooling, heating, thermal cycling, and precision temperature control.
Accuthermo’s FTX300 H-bridge amplifier 
The FTX300 H-Bridge Amplifier is Accuthermo’s highly efficient H-bridge amplifier for mid-range voltage temperature control applications. The FTX300 supports output requirements up to 180 Watts and is capable of driving bi-directional voltage to thermoelectric modules for cooling, heating, thermal cycling, and precision temperature control.
Accuthermo’s FTX100 H-bridge amplifier 
The FTX100 H-Bridge Amplifier is Accuthermo’s highly efficient H-bridge amplifier for low-voltage-range temperature control applications.
